Inclusive 7 Nights, 8 Days of Exploring our beautiful Guatemala. Price includes all taxes, services, private transportation, and listed tours. Breakfast is also included everyday. Price is valid, per person for 1 to 3 adults. Small increase per person due to larger vehicle to accommodate all the guest

Tours include a local certified bi-lingual guide. All the hotels, tours and services will be very common and have English speaking staff and will be very comfortable for someone visiting the country for the first time. This is our standard tour but also have several ala carte tour add-ons for your free time, just ask us.

Day One-



Day Two -








 

TBD - Land at La Aurora Airport, private transportation will be awaiting your arrival (1 hour 20 minute estimated time to arrive at your hotel in Antigua)

Day Three -

9:30am Antigua walking tour (2.5 hours) - this tour is a great way to get oriented in this beautifu historical city. Your local guide will talk with you about the history, architecture, culture and landmarks. After your tour, grab some lunch and head back to your hotel to prepare for your afternoon hike.

2:00pm Pacaya Hike (6.5 hours) - Hike Pacaya Volcano, one of three active volcanos in Guatemala. The trip is a half-day excursion and you will have a two hour uphill climb (the two hours includes ample breaks) The collective tour includes a local guide and round trip transportation, you will be required to pay Q100 entry fee upon arrival. Once you arrive at the summit you will be able to roast marshmallows in heat vents between the petrified lava stones.

Day Four -

9:30am - Coffee Tour (3 hours) - Visit a local working coffee farm where you will see the process of creating a cup of coffee from bean to brew. At the finca there will be a restaurant where you can have a relaxed meal after the tour!

Free afternoon - You will have a free afternoon to select from our list of other experiences or relax or shop at your own pace.

9:00am - Eat a filling breakfast because right after breakfast your private driver will be waiting to bring you to Lake Atitlan with a tour stop on the way.

10:30am Private tour at Lximche (2 hours) - your private driver will be waiting for you while you enjoy a relaxed guided tour of this beautiful post - Mayan archaeological site. You will learn about the lifestyle of the Maya people who lived here when the Spanish invaders arrived in 1521. It'a a beautiful setting and if your lucky you may also see a spiritual fire ceremony taking place.

2:30pm - Arrive at your hotel in Panajachel. Enjoy the rest of your afternoon with a late lunch, grabbing a drink by the lakefront, shopping or just relaxing.

Day Five -

9:00am Lake Village Tour (8 hours) - Your guide will pick you up and everyone will travel by boat to Santa Catarina a beautiful painted village, then onto Santiago the most populous indigenous town around the lake full of rich history and last onto San Juan where you will see various artisans working their craft including backstrap weavinng, painting and medicinal plants. There will be a stop for lunch, but the cost of food in not included. You will be dropped back off at the end of the tour back at your hotel.

Day Six - 

You will have a full day to do as you wish, however we can organize a myraid of things to do including a cooking class, horseback riding or hiking. Or maybe youd just like to take a kayak for a spin or read a book!

Day Seven -

9:30am - Depart from Panajachel back to Antigua (if you need to go directly back to Guatemala City that can also be arranged)

12:00pm - Arrive back to your hotel in Antigua and drop your bags.

Free afternoon - You can do some last minute shopping, plan another half-day activity or enjoy a top-rated meal.

If necessary for departure we will help you schedule your Covid test.

Day Eight -

Total Cost $ 1,500.00 per person.

Includes for up to three people : 7 nights accommodation, 7 breakfasts, 5 tours, fully private round trip transportation to/from Lake and to/from airport, does not include optional gardtities.

Price DOES NOT include International flights, transfers and meals not mentioned in above itinerary 

A LA CARTE ITEMS;

Jade Workshop: $50 each (2 hours) - Visit a jade factory where you will learn about the historical and spirtual significance of the Guatemalan jaade stone. Receive a guided tour of the jade museum and then you will get to select your own stone and use the machines to cut, shape and polish it to take home as your souvenir.

Market Tour: $20 each (2 hours)  - Take a guided tour through the Antigua market (highly recommended). This is the pulse of village life you will learn about the foreign agricultural products the market way of life and you'll be able to try your hand at making tortillas, sample some indigenous fruits and eat a meal at the market like a local!

Cooking Class (In Antigua or Panajachel) : $60 each (4 hours) - Visit with a local teacher where you will be able to try your hand at fully tradional Guatemalan meal. You'll participate in preparing a three course meal and then you'll sit and enjoy it with an amzing view.

If you woud like to extend your stay for a couple more days hiking Volcan Acatenango is one of the most booked tours for vistors in Guatemala. Be warned though this beautiful hike is not for the faint of heart : $60

Horseback riding; $25 (2 hours) This is a great way to see the magnificent Lake Atitlan, from the slopes of volcano San Pedro.

Chocolate Workshop in Antigua; $25 Learn everything there is to know about chocolate and how it is processed from bean to bar. You'll craft your very own chocolate creation.
